Polish Problems

Man, getting into Nail Polish was a MISTAKE. There are SO MANY brands and SO MANY colours and I have a problem.

If I have one item from a collection, I want ALL THE ITEMS. There's a reason I have 49 bottles of Gin and it's not because I run a Gin Shop.

So when it comes to polish, once I get something from a series I lose my mind and need them all. I'm struggling with that when it comes to Revlon - I've got MOST of the Colorstay collection and MOST of the Parfumerie collection, and it's turning me around in circles that because of buying the house I can't just swamp ebay auctions and get them all.

This is another reason I haven't really got too many indie polishes - I feel like I came late to the game and there are too many discontinued polishes that I wouldn't be able to get. Add to that the limited edition ones and I would go mad.

I think I have a problem. Damn my completist nature!

Well, we're 3 weeks into January and cold weather be damned, my nails have a free edge again! My cuticles are shot to shit but I have free edge!

My friend Christy from Slaquer Lacquer sent me a bottle of Rejuvacote so that I can try to grow the long nails of my dreams.

I'm a little concerned when I have only just started using Rejuvacote when I read a blog like this one where the poor lass's nails went pink!!

No sign of that yet with mine (the yellow discolouration is due to Sinful Colors Savage a few months ago) but you'd better believe I'm looking for it.

Speaking of Slaquer Lacquer, I have been blessed with a delivery of Lady of the Laken and here's a crappy pic of my nubby nails wearing it on four nails with an accent of Revlon Gel Envy 350 Showtime.

This gorgeous jelly blue with multi-sized multi-coloured glitter was created especially for my friend Laken, but anyone can purchase her and you should because she's amazing, just like my girl!

So, now I've started buying Slaquer I'd better get some decent money so I can buy them all. Bloody Pokemon type polish habit.

One polish I have been after forever however, is Essie Belugaria, and thanks to my amazing Secret Santa I now have it in my grubby little hands. Over a coat of black and applying slowly with way more polish than you think you need!
(also don't shake it, the glitter sticks to the sides, I learned that the hard way)

Sorry it was so long since the last update, I've got plenty to post now, I promise!
