RuPaul's Drag Race: Shady Politics

So this week, we're really feeling the heat as we are left with 6 Queens and the scrutiny is HIGH.

This week's mini challenge is to guess whether a model likes to Top, or Bottom (bunk) by basing it on a random fact about them.

Menswear Designer Andrew Christian was there with his models in their underwear.

Derrick finally won a challenge! Ru claimed you could see more pics of the models online but I can't find them. Links gratefully appreciated for... reasons!

The main challenge this week was to riff on the current American political situation, by producing their own Presedential Campaign videos, to boost themselves and smear their opponent.

They were paired up like this:

Bob and Derrick

Chi Chi and Thorgy

Kim Chi and Naomi

Lets be honest, they were the best pairings they could've made, given the previous drama and last week's question! Naomi and Kim Chi could be in trouble because they don't have any drama, or they could work well because they aren't scared to work with each other, like Chi Chi was of Thorgy.

The adverts were directed by Michelle Visage and Carson Kressley, who tried to give directions as best they could, but there are always queens who don't listen and this time, Kim Chi found it tough to do what they suggested and Thorgy straight up ignored it!

Damn girl, what a mistake to make!

In the work room, Derrick Barry asked Kim Chi whether she came from North or South Korea... I literally have no idea how someone in 2016 has no concept of North Korea's regime? Wow Derrick.

This week's runway is Black and White Realness, based around what Detox wore during the Season 5 final as a rebellion against the Red Theme.

Thorgy... did really poorly and gave me a sad

Chi Chi was once again, unpolished as hell.

Unsurprisingly, Bob and Derrick won, with Chi Chi and Thorgy ending in the bottom 2.

Thorgy I felt had given up since the beginning of this episode (however I appreciate, editing is everything) and clowned around during a hugely emotional song. Chi Chi brought the drama and rightfully won to stay.

I may be reading way too much into this, as Thorgy had been my favourite since day 1, but the little wave she did before her cartwheel, and when she grabbed Chi Chi's arm as you do a winner, it looked like she knew.

So this week's nails would've had little shoes in black and white, however I don't have a shoe stamp! Gotta find me onna those!

 Thorgy's shirt and bow tie, followed by some faded grey. 

And then the day that Prince Died, I clicked my fingers too hard on my steering wheel, and much like my heart broke the day that Thorgy left, my nails broke too. So I've got stupid short nails again, damnit.

Who shall I support now? Damnit :(

RuPaul's Drag Race: Wizards of Drag

On the back of Acid Betty's elimination last week, this season is already feeling too short. We should be left with a lot more quality than we have - some queens just aren't cutting it for me!

This week, The Library was Opened!

Reading happened - I'm not telling you the things they said, you can watch the episode, however the reaction to Bob winning was A+

This week's main challenge was with The Little Women of LA, hitting the runway in Book Inspired Wizard of Oz looks (there are no ruby slippers in the book)

Here are the groups:

Derrick and Terra, Robbie and Christy, Thorgy and Brittney

Chi Chi and Tonya, Naomi and Jasmine, Bob and Elena, Kim Chi and Briana

And then halfway through, they were told they would have to do an interpretive dance too. I nearly died as hard as they did.

At the end, the criticism was valid and they did that horrible "Who would you send home" with Chi Chi, Bob and Naomi saying Derrick, Derrick, Thorgy and Kim Chi saying Chi Chi.

In the end it was Derrick Vs Robbie with Robbie going home. Derrick pulled out all of his Britney moves, so his performance was pretty good, but it kinda proves he hasn't got much to offer.

My nails this week were difficult, if I used Gels I could do some cushioning to make the bustly bit, but I don't have any gel yet, so this is what we've got!

RuPaul's Drag Race: Supermodel Snatch Game

SNATCH GAAAAAME!

After last week's runway, Bob and Derrick had a wee spat and threw some minor shade at each other. Frankly it was a bit crap, neither of them won so it was definitely handbags at dawn. The funniest bit was when Kim Chi leaned backwards to keep outta the way!

The next morning, Ru, the card that she is, started by claiming that the Queens would be going out on the LA highway and picking up Roadkill to create some #crittercouture.

The reactions were perfection:

Of course, this wasn't the case and we were on to the Snatch Game!

Ultimately. Thorgy's was predictable but safe, Kim Chi was just weird, Chi Chi was also weird, Derrick was very BritBrit, Bob was a bit OTT and the others were all pretty poo.

RuPaul looked lovely, I loved the geometric shape that these sequins were on the dress!

4 Kimonos aside, (Kim Chi and Thorgy are the only ones out of those 4 that looked like the videos) this was a poor show! There are many Madonna looks that you can channel, and these wouldn't be my choice for any but maybe Bob?

At the end of it all, Robbie Turner escaped, leaving Naomi Smalls to send Acid Betty packing. I'm sad that Betty is gone already, especially as her outfit was white birds on a white dress with white hair and white tights and shoes. This manicure was a PITA!!

So I chose to emulate Betty's lipstick and eyeliner.
