RuPaul's Drag Race: Extravaganza Eleganza

Oh my goodness! Tomorrow the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 7 will be announced! I've not been this excited about a TV show for a gooood long while!

This week was a RuCap of the previous episodes of the season, with past queens passing judgement!

I thought I would include here my favourite of everyone's outfits:

And so this week I did a manicure based on my favourite outfit of the final three, basing it on Pearl, above:

My second manicure was on the worst outfit of the final three, which was Ginger's Conjoined Twin:

Final tomorrow! Who do you think should win? I won't be watching until Tuesday, so I'll have to avoid the internet until then!!

RuPaul's Drag Race: Silence, I've Made My Decision.

Here we go! After this episode we have our final 3 - no more Runways no more Lip Sincs and no more...

... I'll let you see that later!

This week they were to shoot the video for RuPaul's "Born Naked" single.

Dancing was done in the workroom, where Ginger's fears were unfounded as she managed to keep up with the skinny minnies

And then Ru did the played-out Tic-Tac sketch, although she swapped it up with some 'juicing' - lookit that dress though, it's like a gorgeous green holo polish!!

And somehow, as usual, Ru manages to make all the queens cry:

and even Violet managed to look vunerable for 1/2 a second!

Then our queens went out into the Green Screen to dance for Ru's video - TBQH I was sickened by the fact that these blokes can stand in heels and I can't.

And then they had to record a sketch with RuPaul where they were a family at war! Each of them filmed all 3 parts so that they could get the best ones I'm sure - much like Season 5

 And after all this, there was the last Runway of the season! I'm going to order these in my Best to Least favourite for these outfits!

This outfit completely did it for me. Sky-high hair, rainbow flags, sequins, Kennedy did the only thing I've liked from her since the entrance outfit. I adored this! 

Pearl

Flowy, Baby-Pink, Vintage. the only problem I have is that the bustier wasn't believable, because it frequently went off-center and there were no shaded-on boobs.

Ginger

Much like her Elvis Couture, Ginger looks great in white. The problem was she had TOO MUCH bling going on - Earrings, Giant Necklace, Cuffs, Rings - GIRL TAKE ONE THING OFF.

I'm actually tempted to go buy some fringe and make me a dress for this year's work Christmas Party!

Violet

 Violet used trousers in her last ever runway? Risky. I don't like the bra I don't like the heavy necklace, I expected something lilac/violet like her entrance outfit. Disappointing V!

And here they are, our final four on the stage as they were all asked to Lip Sinc together to Born Naked

In the end Kennedy was finally asked to Sashay Away and I got my fiercest nails this season out of it. I couldn't be happier with this RuPaulish!!

TOP 5 QUEENS, THIS IS TOO STRESSFUL!!

As I only started watching any RuPaul's Drag Race in January, I haven't had the eliminations happen as everyone else sees them before, I haven't had to wait weeks between shows and while I've gone through heartbreak when people left, it hasn't been along with a nation.

This week my heart broke hard.

The mini-challenge this week was to drag up a puppet of the other queens and do a read. Faaaaaabulous:

Ginger won the mini-challenge and got to go early to the supplies, which is hillarious because it didn't matter if she got there first or had an extra day, Ginger hates sewing.

In the work room, there were 2 special guests - one was Santino and frankly he can go eat a dick, but the other was...

HELLO MOTHERFUCKING KITTY

And the queens were told that they had to create a Hello Kitty BFF outfit alongside some Eleganza Couture for the runway.

Fucking bobblehead MFs.

Runway time and Ru Sashayed on in an orange floor-length gown and a geometric wig:

Unfortunatly Katya lost the lip sinc, in possibly the worst decision of Drag Race Herstory. Seriously, the Facebook sites are a flame with people shooting the decision down. Kennedy is on that stage 8 weeks longer than she should have been.

I am just grateful that I properly love Hello Kitty and therefore this manicure was easier than it could have been. Unfortunately I decided to try using Foil for the first time and it was AWESOME. Until I used topcoat. DAMN THAT TOPCOAT.
