RuPaul's Drag Race: The Realness

TOP FOUR!

It's really nice to see four queens who really love each other get to the Top 4. I feel like every other season there was some drama or hate that spread over and made it awkward!

Straight into main challenge mode, and it was time for the queens to take on "Flowtography" (who comes up with this shit) and pretend like they were falling from the sky!

Naomi killed it with sexy legs - I wish they had pushed her up higher so her hair didn't look like it was sitting on a box
Naomi

Bob had massive problems looking graceful

Chi Chi was graceful and light, but those tights are awful!

Kim Chi was... Kim Chi! Awkward personified

Next they had to bring Avant Garde. I have seen elsewhere that Bob and Chi Chi were supplied with their outfits, and Naomi and Kim Chi had to do their own because the ones they were provided with didn't fit.

Bob looked striking in black and white

Kim Chi wore feathers... again!

Naomi wore see-through latex and thigh-high boots. Loved it.

Chi Chi wore a stunning rubbery overdress on a nude maxi. I thought this was fab!

The next part was themselves against the mirror, although it seems they skipped that bit for Naomi?

And that was a wrap on the video! I can't wait to see the story behind those scenes - it seems a bit more abstract than the usual videos...?

Onto THE FINAL RUNWAY!

Category is: Best Drag!

Bob wore spandex leggings with a white collared shirt and a sequins blazer.

Chi Chi wore a simple pink pageant gown, with green earrings (wut?)

Kim Chi wore feathers again, and I had no idea what the hell was going on here

Naomi wore a pink sateen jumpsuit with bunny ear boob covers

I absolutely adored the waves in Ru's dress tonight, the way it glistened and shone - perfection. Sham about that makeup though, it looked like she had a tumour on each eyebrow?

This week's panel - Ru's Regulars

I nearly died when the four of them discussed doing this move on Untucked - Synchronised Realness
Gotta move into the house

And the hug at the end when they all finished - NO YOU'RE CRYING.

So the last queen to Sashay Away this season was Chi Chi DeVayne, who had fought so damn hard and really needed that cash money.

I'm not sad, she went much further than she deserved to and honestly, her money will go up just from being on the show, so hang in there Cheech, you got this.

And so, here is the sequins bling monstrosity I created based on Chi Chi!

RuPaul's Drag Race: Book Ball

AAAAAAHHHH TOP FOUR!!!

Honestly, this is so so tight this season - I'm still reeling from last week's elimination but Ru don't stop for me! Onwards and let's get to the final!
Walk into Top 5 Purse First!

EVERYBODY LOVES PUPPETS!

This week's mini-challenge was PUPPETRY!! They lined up as follows:

Bob did Kim Chi

Kim Chi took on Chi Chi

Derrick lampooned Naomi

Naomi Fisted Derrick

Chi Chi was inside Bob
(check little Purse First on the desk!)

Chi Chi honestly SLAYED as Bob, without being mean. There's a real talent to that and she pulled it the hell off!

Ru looked especially harsh this week, really didn't like the makeup, wig or outfit. Sorry 'bout it.

Next the queens did a take-off of Jerri Blank from Strangers with Candy because Amy and David Sedaris were the guest judges!

Ross Matthews, Michelle Visage, RuPaul, Amy Sedaris, David Sedaris

Chi Chi DeVayne

Bob the Drag Queen

Naomi Smalls

Derrick Barry

Kim Chi

Onto the Runway and the queens were given three rounds to do, the first being "Baby Drag Realness":

Naomi Smalls

Bob the Drag Queen

Derrick Barry

Chi Chi DiVayne

Next they had to dress up and pay tribute to their mothers, in "That's My Mama Realness"

Naomi Smalls

Bob the Drag Queen

Derrick Barry

Chi Chi DiVayne

And finally, their own stories in "Autobiographical Eleganza Extravaganza"

Unfortunately, Derrick took last week's critique on his makeup and lack of drag persona to mean his eyebrows only.

My face:

And so unfortunately after a LSFYL with Bob, Derrick and his torn paper corsetry had to sashay.

I created this week's manicure with Indigo Bananas Call Me Mabel and some striping tape boning to illustrate what Derrick did with the paper. And I hated it.
Using: Indigo Bananas Call Me Mabel, No. 7 Me! Me! Me! (ha!), Revlon Colorstay Provence, Coastal Surf and Buttercup with a liberal dusting of Filthy Gorgeous Prism for some Vegas Glam.
